The T-House
THE VISION HAS NOT CHANGED: The Lord has called us to develop a Transformation House (T-House) with a discipleship program for women ex-offenders coming out of prison. This program will be based on biblical teachings and Katie’s book, The Captivity Series: The Key to Your Expected End.
UPDATE With the Lord’s clear direction and within only a matter of weeks, we found the perfect home for our first T-House in Pinal County!! We offered a fair price; it was accepted, papers were signed, and now the home belongs to EEM! It is a 2,500 sq ft gorgeous home with 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, including a separate casita. It sits on a ¼ acre lot with a park across the street. The backyard has been transformed into an oasis with a variety of desert plants, cacti and trees. We already have three women that we are considering to be our first “recruits.” We are excited to learn that another definition for recruit is “to renew or restore the health, vitality, or intensity of.” These “recruits” have gone through Katie’s book, The Captivity Series, already know how to soak and are ready for a transformation. We truly believe God is hand-picking them!
In the meantime, we are still looking at land in the surrounding areas large enough to accommodate all of what EEM envisions in the future, including a 40-bed single story dormitory for female ex-felons, an office and resource center, a prayer house and a 3,000 seat auditorium.
It is our desire to share the truth found in the word of God to all people who are in any type of captivity and to equip them with the tools needed to achieve complete freedom. The T-House will be used to help inmates after they are released from prison to take hold of the Expected End God has for them. We have the funds already to purchase the home; however we will still need the funds to furnish the house, sponsor each of our new recruits for 1 year, and cover miscellaneous expenses.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
As a T-House Sponsor, you’ll receive a Sponsorship Certificate, a letter of thanks, pictures, and information about the “recruits” room you helped sponsor. In return for your Sponsorship, you will be offered the opportunity to name your chosen room. Your name or perhaps in the memory of a loved one will be engraved on a permanent plaque outside the designated room. Each plaque will be placed in the T-House as a lasting tribute to your generosity and kindness. An additional year marker will be added to the plaque each time you renew your sponsorship. In addition, a “behind the scenes” tour of the T-House can be arranged, creating a unique opportunity for you to learn more about the T-House and to meet some of the “recruits” who will be blessed by your gift.
